Artboxes on Tin

MIXED-MEDIA PHOTOGRAPHY

This triptic was printed on Kodak Pro Endura glossy photo paper under 0.08" acrylic glass then mounted on an aluminum Dibond base. The finished print is captured in a solid wood art box, a simple dark wooden frame surround of 0.16" with a profile depth of 1.38". The artbox is then fixed to a backdrop of reclaimed tin roofing, cut, polished and hand waxed by the artist to preserve the natural patina and permanently seal the antique material.
